Me and Mr. Jones 
a few things you should know:
1. i’m currently downloading your mix. given your impact on my musical life thus far (how else would i know about cake and r.e.m.?) i look forward to seeing what you’ve got.
2. i didn’t know you had a blog. the surprises never cease.
3. although now that i think about it, i’m not the least bit surprised you have a blog.
4. in rummaging around in your old room over winter break (as i sometimes do when i’m home) i picked up a notebook on the piles of who knows what, thinking it to be one of mine. as it turned out, it contained a journal entry of sorts penned by none other than you, sir. of course i read it. like the time many moons ago as an ankle biting baby brother, looking through your desk and finding all those juicy love notes you used to stash away. i now consider this foreshadowing, given the amount of your semi-personal information just begging to be read, digested, mulled over, and regurgitated at social events in which people are baffled to learn that i have a brother.
5. yes, i plan on reading this entire blog.
